Visual Protocol Simulator software is a serial port analyzer that allows programmers to design and run protocol packets on the target system via RS232 serial port. VPS is a complete integrated development environment (IDE) for packet design, project management, packet simulation, analyzing, monitoring and data logging. VPS is simple and easy to use, no scripting is required. Users can design packets and run in minutes.

Simulate custom designed protocol packets to exchange data and commands with the target system; VPS packets bytes can be associated with window controls such as edit box, spin box, comb box, radio and check buttons giving the data a visualized form for easy read and manipulation. Radio and Check buttons are designed to handle bitmap manipulation; VPS adopts a unidirectional communication method with Master-Slave dynamic suited for the serial port physical component; Outputs the packet data on RS232 serial communication bus; Serial signals can be converted into the target system physical interface such as SPI, RS485 and UART.
