Description:

Equustek specializes in the manufacture and design of gateways, bridges, and custom protocol conversion communication products for complete system integration. They allow industrial automation equipment the ability to exchange data over popular industrial networks. The company's expertise is interfacing PCs, SCADA Systems, AB PLCs, SLCs, computers, modems, variable speed drives and OEM equipment to Modicon's Modbus, Allen-Bradley's Data Highway Plus (DH+), DH-485, and Remote I/O. Equustek also develops adapters that interface Industrial Ethernet (Ethernet/IP, TCP/IP, Modbus TCP/IP), Profibus, and DeviceNet protocols.

Product Name Type Connectivity Product Description
DL3500Network GatewayModbusEquustek's DL3500 comes in 4 models. The DL3500-Modbus/DH+ and DH-485 become Modbus Clients for devices on A-B's DH+ or DH-485 networks. The DL3500-Modbus/DH+ and DH-485 become Modbus Server devices for access to PLCs on A-B's DH+ or DH-485 networks. Client mode is used when a device on the DH+ network is going to initiate all communications with one or many Modbus server devices. Server mode is used when a device on the Modbus network is going to initiate all communications with one or many SLCs, PLCs or other DH+ devices. The DL3500-Modbus/DH+ or DH-485 is a two-port device that bridges your Modicon Modbus devices to A-B DH+ network. The Modbus model can either be used as Modbus Client or Server as well as having both Modbus ASCII and RTU protocols.
DL4500-MEDH-485Network GatewayModbus TCP/IPEquustek's gateway interfaces your Modbus TCP/IP Network to A-B's Data Highway Plus DH+, extending the life of Allen-Bradley PLCs without Ethernet Interfaces. The DataLink solution allows applications such as RSLogix, RSLinx, and RSView to access devices on a DH+ network from an Ethernet/IP LAN, enabling users to run MMI applications or program and monitor PLCs on a DH+ network from an Ethernet LAN station. Other MMIs tested include Wonderware, Kepware, and Intellution. The DL4500-MEDH+ combines the Lantronix Ethernet Microprocessor with Equustek's DH+ token-ring technology.

DL4000-MMXNetwork GatewayModbusThe DL4000-MMX allows Modbus Client RTU devices to communicate to multiple Modbus Server ASCII Devices.
DL4000-DMX DF1Network GatewayModbusThe DL4000-DMX has two configuration modes that allow Modbus devices to communicate with A-B's DF1 protocol (CH0s of PLCs, SLCs, Micrologixs, etc.) Modbus Client Mode configures the DL4000-DMX to act as a Client on the Modbus Network. Commands can be generated inside the PLC (DF1 Device) to access/change data inside Modbus Server devices using either Modbus ASCII or RTU protocol. Modbus Server Mode configures the DL4000-DMX to act as a Server on the Modbus Network. Commands can be generated inside a Modbus Client Device to access/change data inside the SLC (DF1 device).
DL2000-CMXNetwork GatewayModbusThe DL2000-CMX provides an AC powered, freestanding Modbus serial interface for computers, MMIs, and OEM based applications that require access to a node on AB's DH+ network. The CMX can be set to be either a Client or Server on the Modbus serial link, as well as communicate using either RTU or ASCII protocols. The CMX in Master Mode can read from and write to registers and coils in any Modbus Server device connected. Server Mode allows a Modbus Client device to read from or write to files in a A-B PLC5 or SLC 5/04 connected to the DH+ network.
